Accessibility Statement

Our commitment to accessible aviation safety data.

Our Commitment

AviCheck is committed to meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level. We believe aviation safety data should be accessible to all Australians, regardless of ability.

Aviation safety information is critical for pilots, operators, maintenance engineers, and the public. We are committed to ensuring this data is available to everyone, including those using assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, and other accessibility tools.

What We Do

  • Provide meaningful text alternatives for non-text content
  • Ensure sufficient colour contrast between text and backgrounds
  • Support keyboard navigation throughout the platform
  • Use semantic HTML to convey document structure
  • Label form controls and interactive elements for screen readers
  • Design responsive layouts that work across devices

Known Limitations

We are continuously working to improve accessibility across the platform. Some data tables containing aviation safety records may present challenges for screen reader users on smaller viewports. We are actively working to address these issues.
